Lauren Figg is a Licensed Master Social Worker and health disparities researcher at Stanford University. She was diagnosed with T1D in 1998 at age 9, and has been passionate about serving the diabetes community since. Lauren is active in electoral advocacy and mutual aid, and cares deeply about the insulin price crisis in the US. Lauren lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her partner, Mike, and their three dogs.
